“Investigating crimes against women and youth”

Welcome to the SAFVIC: Hi Tech & Digital Investigations Conference

Technology significantly impacts the investigations of crimes against women.  These days, very few investigations are without a digital component.  The Sexual Assault Family Violence Investigator Course (SAFVIC) has developed a conference that will educate first responders and investigators on how to understand, investigate and respond to digital crimes.

The Sexual Assault Family Violence Investigator Course (SAFVIC) High Technical and Digital Investigations Conference is designed to assist police chiefs, sheriffs, commanders, patrol officers, digital forensic investigators, detectives, and prosecutors who are investigating and preventing crimes that involve technology in the state of Texas.

The conference features industry leading keynotes, hands-on workshops, lectures, and panel discussions as well as demos and poster sessions.  The Hi Tech conference is specifically held for sworn law enforcement officials, investigators, and leadership within the state of Texas that work with crimes affecting women and youth. To be considered for admission to this conference, you will need to apply to attend. This information, along with specific details and guidelines can be found on the APPLICATION tab.
